Great Game Apps To Waste Some Time

While at work, everyone isn’t always performing at top condition. Lots of factors contribute to either a productive or slow day. If you’re the one manning the company phone, chances are, your day is either leaving you frazzled or downright bored.

Take this list of games with a grain of salt. You can either get all of them so you won’t be bored for the day when there really isn’t anything to do or you can completely avoid seeing, hearing, playing or scoring high on any of these apps.

So lo and behold, the iOS and Android time sinks:

  1. Bejeweledbejeweled

It starts out simple and colorful. Some gems you have to arrange in threes to get more gems. The sound of disappearing gems is engaging and the timer is short. It means you can play again really quickly when you don’t do so well. Why not log in to Facebook when you can so you get power-ups for higher points and gem-destroying benefits? It has everything a time sink needs: simple game play, endless replay value, great sound effects and ways to jack up points to the millions.

  2. fruit ninjaFruit Ninja

If arranging gems is a little too difficult or you’ve gotten tired of showing up everyone with a gazillion points on Facebook, then you might want to slash some fruit to bits. You’re a ninja in training learning the fine arts of swordsmanship by slicing fruit that’s thrown in the air. Be wary of the ketchup bottles that get thrown in. You’re supposed to leave those alone. The various modes can either waste your time by letting you finish the achievements one at a time, practice the slicing endlessly, or hone your screen-swiping powers. Don’t forget, the best way is to slice as many with just one swipe.

  3. Jetpack Joyridejetpack joyride

A runner that doesn’t end unless you die, with a new quest every time you complete a new one is a certified time-waster. You control this redneck little guy strapped to a jetpack that invades a laboratory that’s filled with stray lasers, technology and traps. You tap the screen to keep flying then use power-ups to get through the game. You die when you hit a trap or laser, and you have to hit a certain distance to get complete quests. The graphics are good and the game just gets faster and faster the further you go.

There are a lot of other games that can make you look up at the clock and realize you’ve just lost 3 hours of your life tapping, but you can start with those three.

Aside from that, your phone can double up on call functions with a RingCentral VoIP phone system so no time is really wasted even if you turn off cellular data.
