Motorola and Verizon officially announced the Motorola Droid X2 smartphone. The Motorola Droid X2 is a 4.3 Android smartphone with a qHD screen resolution and a dual-core 1GHz processor. At the back of this Android is an 8 megapixel camera with HD video recording.
qHD is a display resolution of 960×540 pixels arranged in a 16:9 aspect ratio. This resolution is one quarter of a full HD 1080p frame (thus the name) and is three quarters of a 720p frame.
While the X2 is boasting its qHD display and its dual-core 1GHz CPU, the device lacks a frontal camera. So, no video calls for you.
Also, the overall design of the phone may have been good if they have dropped the ugly verizon logo.
The Motorola Droid X2 is launching tomorrow (May 19th) and in stores on May 26th. The price tag of the X2 is at $200 on contract.
