Izhar Gafni hopes his invention makes having a bike available to anyone. He created a fully-functioning, water-resistant cardboard bicycle. And it is shockingly durable. This light-weight bike can carry riders who weigh up to 220 kilograms. Check it out:
Gafni is currently working with investors to have the product ready for mass-production. He is now setting up a company to produce and distribute his cardboard creation to the world market. The cost to make the bicycle ranges from $9 to $12, and the manufacturer expects to sell the vehicle for $60 to $90 depending on the optional addition of an electric motor.
