The new Ubuntu version, named ‘Natty Narwhal’, is now available for download. The Ubuntu 11.4 release comes with a new look and feel with its new UI Unity. The new stylish user interface brings some big changes for Ubuntu. And some of the biggest changes includes the new launcher and the dash. The new launcher, which sits on the left-hand side of the screen, is designed for quick and easy access to applications. It works much like your Windows task bar. While the dash is another simple way to get to your app shorcuts and search for other programs.
Ubuntu 11.4 by default uses the new user interface Unity. If you want to switch back to the classic GNOME interface, you can make the switch at login.
