UN World Food Programme
World Food Programme is part of the United Nations system and is voluntarily funded. WFP has long-term operations in Haiti, and within 24 hours of the earthquake they had already begun food distributions. They currently have over 200 of their staff on the ground providing essentials. Their rapid-response logistics and telecommunications team are supporting the entire humanitarian effort.
