NASA Mohawk Guy goes viral [Pics and Interview Video]

‘NASA Mohawk Guy’, also known as Bobak Ferdowsi, went viral across the web shortly after the successful landing of the rover Curiosity on Mars. Thanks to his patriotic hairdo: a blue and red mohawk with yellow stars on the side of his head.

Ferdowsi, a flight director on the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) Curiosity mission, had less than 200 followers on Twitter before the Mars landing, and now has more than 31,000 and climbing. You can follow him on Twitter @tweetsoutloud.
